7 days of non-stop Eat-Pray-Love in Macau/Hong Kong

For those who don't know me, I'm an oriented (extremely oriented) person, I plan my holiday, what I want to see, do and eat. I study the map so I can plan the best route. I read every travel guide blog on google so that I can max out my trip. Yes, i plan, plan and plan, you can call me paranoid!

However a week before I depart, I discovered that the weather is not on my side as it has been stormy for almost everyday. It forced us to change our pre-planned itinerary: priority were given to the core outdoor activities such as Disneyland, Big Buddha, The Peak. We won't do the street markets, temple visit and architectural walk till we tick off our core activities.

Prepared as ever, we arrived at the city of lights - Macau at 8.30pm-ish . Our eyes brighten up as we got off the plane and sprinted towards the baggage collecting area. Without wasting any time, we took a cab to our first pit stop - the City of Dreams which is just across the airport and started snapping pictures here and there like a mad woman!

Day 1:

9.00pm - City of Dreams (catch the show Dragon's Treasure if possible)

we did see the City of Dreams but we were not allowed to sit in the show with our luggage bags. Argh.

JellyBean's chewy advice
:

If you want to see the show, be sure to drop off your luggage first. Venetian Resort has free shuttle bus from Taipa to Macau, you don't have to call a cab.

Cab charges: Meter starts from MOP13 once you hop in. And MOP3 per luggage.
